We added a bottle of Stump Jump shiraz, a Brancott Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, and some ChocoVine for Mom. I washed it all down with a bottle of Strongbow Cider when I hunkered down at home watching Elf.
Buddy the elf: “I just like to smile! Smiling’s my favorite!”
Oddly my Agrapart Terroirs Mag did not get drunk. I guess I’ll have to find another occasion to drink it. Hmm. when’s the next time that Champagne might be appropriate? Besides New Years that is. I can report the 2007 Giraud Chateauneuf Tradition is excellent. Very young now but so full of rich, ripe primary fruit and a very long finish. I’ll bet the complexity will emerge with some bottle age but boy is it impressive now! 93 points.
